Hi There!

Welcome to my virtual home. My name is Joelle Nañawa and I’m a martial arts teacher, personal trainer, and women’s self-defense instructor dedicated to helping people find balance between extremes and defend their well-being.

At the heart of my work is Warrior Healing Arts, where movement, mindfulness, and practical self-protection come together to support people of all backgrounds live with more awareness, strength, and agency. Whether I’m teaching a Soul Punch Self-Defense seminar, guiding a client through sustainable habit change, or offering community-based workshops on emergency preparedness or traditional weaponry, I strive to create spaces where healing and empowerment are both accessible and galvanizing.

My work is rooted in trauma-informed principles of safety, choice, and empowerment, and I continually strive to hold space with compassion and awareness. While my background spans fitness, nutrition, and holistic wellness, my current focus is on helping women and gender-diverse folks feel safer, stronger, and more connected to their instincts. As my offerings continue to evolve, I remain committed to creating tools, trainings, and spaces that are rooted in care, resilience, and embodied transformation.
