T'ai Chi at Topanga Nursery - 11/21/2026 - 12 spots available

$35.00

Join martial arts and mindfulness instructor Joelle Nañawa for a peaceful and invigorating morning of T’ai Chi at the beautiful Topanga Nursery.

This beginner-friendly class introduces the foundations of T’ai Chi Ch’uan, an internal martial art that cultivates balance, coordination, strength, and a calm, focused mind. Through gentle movement, intentional breathwork, and practical philosophy, we'll explore how this centuries-old practice can support both physical and mental well-being.

Together, we'll slow down, reconnect with our bodies, and discover how mindful movement can help us navigate everyday life with greater ease, awareness, and resilience.

During class, you'll explore:

  • Gentle Qigong exercises to warm up the body and connect with the breath

  • Foundational T’ai Chi postures, stances, and body mechanics

  • Simple movement sequences that develop balance, coordination, and flow

  • Introduction to a T’ai chi form that you can take with you into your daily life

All levels are welcome, and no prior experience is needed. Whether you're completely new to T’ai Chi or returning to deepen your practice, you'll be encouraged to move at your own pace and explore what feels right for your body.

After class, linger a little longer! Grab a coffee from the onsite JustVibes Café, wander among the plants and flowers, pick up some local honey, and say hello to the nursery bees.

To keep the experience relaxed, supportive, and personal, class size is limited to 12 participants.

Pre-registration is required to reserve your place.
